How we work
From first idea to finished room
Five steps, one team. Here’s what working with Blue Mountain looks like.
01
Discover
It starts with a conversation and a visit. We walk the space with you, talk through how you use it today and what isn’t working, and take careful measurements. You’ll leave this step with a clear sense of scope and next steps.
02
Design
We develop layouts, cabinetry, furniture placement and a finish palette around the way you live. Design and construction are planned together from day one, so ideas are checked against what it will take to build them.
03
Render & Refine
Before anything is built, you see it: detailed 3D renderings of your space. We review them together, adjust, and render again until it feels right. Changes are easy here, and expensive later.
04
Build
Blue Mountain Carpentry, a licensed North Carolina general contractor, builds from the approved design. Because the design team and the build team work together, the details in the rendering make it into the finished room.
05
Finish
Trim, hardware, touch-ups and the last details. We walk through the finished space with you and make sure everything is right before we call it done.
